Review: Mizuno MP-58 irons

The second of the Reading-based company's new irons in the consistently excellent MP range, the Mizuno MP-58 perfectly complements the Mizuno MP-68. It’s a classic 'good cop, bad cop' scenario. Where the MP-68 is tougher, meaner and leaner, a club that demands absolute respect, the MP-58 is a little more easy going, a little easier to deal with, yet no less compromising. It’s a good mixture, with MP players of all levels – from scratch to 10 – able to find a club that will suit their games.

That’s not to say that the MP-58s are a doddle to hit - after all, they're very much an MP club. The offset is minimal, and although the topline and face length measurements are slightly up on the MP-68, there’s not much in it.

But what sets these apart is the technology that has gone into them. It’s a half-cavity, in the vein of predecessors like the MP-30 or MP-60, but instead of steel, the cavity on the MP-58 is filled with a block of titanium. This is the first time that Mizuno has allowed an intruder like titanium into the blade's inner sanctum so it must be truly special to have earned its place on an MP club.

The key to this decision is weight. Titanium is 40% lighter than steel yet it retains the density required for a solid strike. This removal of mass allows weight to be spread across the clubhead, widening the sweetspot, but without moving the CG (centre of gravity) too far away from the clubhead, thus ensuring a lower flight and plenty of workability.

At impact, the feel is incredibly solid, markedly different from the MP-68, which is much softer and more buttery. Despite what Mizuno says about a penetrating flight, I found the trajectory higher than the MP-68, but given that it is designed to offer a little bit of help, that is surely no bad thing - particularly if the towering iron shot is just your thing.

Thin topline of the MP-58

The MP-58 also feels more powerful, like there is more spring off the face. You can almost feel the acceleration off the clubface, where with the MP-68 the sensation is one of being cushioned.
Like the MP-68s, the MP-58 irons were tuned for the optimum vibration frequency, which translates into feel. Indeed, so much work has gone into the feel of this club that Mizuno says that playing-wise, it could have been released a year ago. But they wanted to get the feel element absolutely perfect and carried on working at it. Now that’s attention to detail!

In terms of working the ball, it’s still predictably good, although the increased forgiveness and technology does make it more of an effort than the MP-68. Again, that might not be a bad thing for some MP players. In the looks department it’s another definite winner, with a stunning clubhead giving real confidence at address. About Mizuno MP-59 Irons Review

Golf club makers fell in love with titanium because it’s stronger and lighter than steel. That means designers can make thinner driver faces, which creates discretionary weight that can be repositioned in other areas to improve performance.
But with the release of the Mizuno MP-59 Iron Set
, Mizuno uses titanium for a completely different purpose—forgiveness.
While the MP-59 is made from steel, 12 grams of titanium are forged into a pocket behind the face of each club. (It’s the slightly darker material in the photo above.) Mizuno says the titanium allows the clubs to maintain the ideal amount of thickness behind the impact area for solid feel while automatically redistributing the weight to the heel, toe and sole of the Mizuno MP-59 Iron Set
“The more you push the weight out to the perimeter and the thinner you make it in the middle, there’s a trade-off with feel,” says David Llewellyn, research and development manager for Mizuno USA. “But by using a lower density material we can maintain thickness here and build in a little bit of forgiveness.”
Llewellyn says that like all the other MP irons, the Mizuno MP-59 Iron Set has very little offset and a thin topline because that’s what better players demand.
In fact, the heads of the Mizuno MP-59 Iron Set
are slightly smaller than last season’s MP-58, the first irons released with this feature that Mizuno calls Ti Muscle. Yet Mizuno claims the clubs have a sweet spot that is 5 percent larger.
“The MP-58 has a titanium piece that is fairly uniform along the back,” says Llewellyn. “On the MP-59 we focused the titanium right in the middle.” That should make them perform better on mis-hits than their predecessors, he said.

The Mizuno MP-14 Forged Irons

The Mizuno MP-14 Forged Irons is a set of golfing equipment that provides the importance of a golf stick  to help the golfer get a good swing that can be able to send the ball into the right direction at the right and well calculated pace.

Designed complete with unique cut away features and a slight offset that is quite instrumental in generating proper feed back with superb manipulation and easy to use, it would be difficult to choose any other kits after sampling these ones.

To get a sure control on the way the ball flies into the air during golfing action it is relatively important that the leading edges of the golf stick should be properly rolled as they provide the direction during play and also help in reduction of the drag effect. All these features make these design a much better option as compared to many available in the market.

By simply handling the stick firmly in position in readiness for action, a professional golfer can feel the potential in any stick. These sticks have proven to have the firm grip and the feel that they generate just form the grip and hold would make any golfer get the confidence that he or she is dealing with a stick that has been tactfully designed by a person with the golfing experience.

Since they have stood the test of time for well over 17 years since introduction into the market, you can be assured that as long as the market still responds positively to their efforts, you will remain relevant and will not be forced to shop for new ones with every passing year.

A major concern for most people when buying anything is the guarantee that the item will remain relevant at least for the coming few years, this is due to the economic pressures of the current world. This situation gives anyone aspiring to buy the Mizuno MP-58 Irons some level of confidence.

2011 New Mizuno MP-59 and MP-69 Irons

Mizuno has finally released the Mizuno MP 59 Irons and Mizuno MP 69 Irons, its new irons for the winter golf shop purchasing cycle. They look awesome.

“The MP-59′s are ground breaking in concept and design, with a look, feel, and play unlike any forged iron Mizuno has delivered to date.” Twelve grams of titanium material are forged into the muscle of the MP-59 for a 5% larger sweet spot compared to the MP-58. MP-59s are a traditional MP sized head shape for the workability required by better players.

The Mizuno MP-59 Iron features a lightweight Titanium insert forged directly into the back of the clubhead. The thicker Ti Muscle material behind impact ensures that the centre of gravity is located closer to the clubface, which allows better players the ability to work shots whilst still offering the forgiveness of the cavity-back design. The Mizuno MP-59 is an evolution of the succesful MP-58 model.

With the Ti weight added to the MP-59, off-center strikes will benefit from even greater stability. The appearance of the MP-59s is also improved by reducing the offset as a result of this improved stability. Thanks to the help of Mizuno’s Tour Staff, the MP-59 irons now features a thinner top-line, a weightier sole and a new sole grind.

Mizuno golf announced the MP-69 irons to their already iconic muscleback lineup. Blending the input of Mizuno’s PGA Tour staff members with state of the art design and simulation tools, the MP-69 irons are the perfect balance of patented Grain Flow Forged?feel, and unmatched workability.

The MP-69 irons are designed with precision craftsmanship to maintain the standards MP players have come to expect.  Mizuno incorporates a newly developed 4D Muscle design to further optimize the set, resulting in a consistent sweet spot height throughout the line that creates predictable penetrating trajectory.  This 4D Technology combined with Grain Flow Forging gives players shot and ball control, and ultimate feel.  Utilizing Harmonic Impact Technology (H.I.T.), Mizuno scientifically tunes the sound of each club head to further enhance the feel.

Mizuno MP 63 Irons Review

At first glance the Mizuno MP 63 Irons are outstanding looking clubs. The chromed face and back contrasted by the satin cavity look great. They are pure Mizuno. There is minimal stampings and markings for a true player’s club. Upon further inspection their sole grind is very well done.  There is a blunted leading edge and a beveled trailing edge meaning less digging and when you do, easy exit from the turf. The overall shape is a little boxier than the MP-68s and they seem to have a taller toe, but are still very pleasant to look down at.

In reality, Harmonic impact systems is really a awesome method of saying that Mizuno studied the seem the clubs make once they strike the the game of golf ball and tuned the clubs' pattern to optimize the know-how for players. very much of what is experienced as “feel” is really sound, although a properly struck shot possessing a superb quality forged metal produces a sensation of solid, almost gentle impact. The complete provide about the tuning was the “Diamond Muscle” design.

Mizuno is targeting reduce handicaps using the Mizuno MP 63. inside the crowded MP line, the 63s occupy the slot in between last year's MP-68 (Mizuno's present “tour blade”) as well as the MP-58 (which promises only a little increased start and slightly very much more forgiving option). another new MP iron, the 53 provides probably the most help inside the MP line, with even increased start and very much more forgiveness. With 4 present MP models, Mizuno provides very much more options for much better game fanatics than most other manufacturers.

As always these Mizuno MP 63 Irons are grain flow forged and have what we have all come to know and love about Mizuno, that butter soft feel at impact.  If you’ve never hit a Mizuno iron it is at least worth demoing one to see what you are missing.

Most Forgiveness Mizuno MP-53 irons review

A new diamond muscle designed and a milled pocket cavity have allowed Mizuno to add more forgiveness to a compact head. Mizuno have worked hard at the sound of the face at impact as this is directly related to feel. The pocket cavity removes 14 grams of weight and allows it to be redistributed around the cavity. The shorter irons progress into a muscle-back design for added control. The Mizuno MP-53 golf iron offers the perfect optical illusion for golfers, offering extreme forgiveness in a compact clubhead that would not look out of place in a tour bag.

Building on the legacy of Mizuno’s hugely popular MP series of irons the Grain Flow Forged MP-53 has a head size and profile that appeal to the most skilled shot maker but uses a Diamond Muscle design combined with a Milled Pocket Cavity to offer a surprising level of stability on even off centre hits. The CNC milled Pocket Cavity is V-shaped and removes 14 grams of weight that is redistributed around the cavity to produce the largest sweet spot of any MP iron while retaining the versatility that better players demand.

The Diamond Muscle design has been created using Mizuno’s Harmonic Impact Technology and works by reinforcing the clubhead from heel to toe and provides excellent feel, control and sound at impact.

The MP-53 features a 360 degree grind that lessens the width of the sole and top edge while the shorter irons feature a design similar to the MP-63 irons to ensure that they offer complete precision and control. The Mizuno MP-53 iron is Grain Flow Forged and features modified U-grooves that conform to the 2010 Condition of Competition rule.

This is the most forgiving and longest Mizuno MP iron ever released. This does not mean they are as forgiving as the JPX-Pro but the smaller head and thinner sole make them more workable. The new tuned heads didn’t feel a great deal different compared to last year’s MP-58, providing the same fantastic feedback. Compared with the MX-300 they are smaller but do not sacrifice any forgiveness. In my view, these clubs are the best compared with those that I played before.

MP59 Irons, New Stick For Your 2012 Golf

Golf club makers fell in love with titanium because it's stronger and lighter than steel. That means designers can make thinner driver faces, which creates discretionary weight that can be repositioned in other areas to improve performance.
But with the release of the new MizunoMP-59 Irons, Mizuno uses titanium for a completely different purpose—forgiveness.

While the Mizuno MP-59 Irons is made from steel, 12 grams of titanium are forged into a pocket behind the face of each Mizuno MP-59 Irons. (It's the slightly darker material in the photo above.) Mizuno says the titanium allows the clubs to maintain the ideal amount of thickness behind the impact area for solid feel while automatically redistributing the weight to the heel, toe and sole of the Mizuno MP-59 Irons.
The Mizuno MP-59 Irons, the next generation of our award winning Ti Muscle? Technology, delivers full cavity forgiveness in a player's half cavity design. During the elaborate Grain Flow Forging process, the pure Titanium material is forged into the muscle of the MizunoMP-59 Irons to deliver a 5% larger Sweet Area compared to the MP-58, the iron that debuted Ti Muscle Technology while taking home "Editor's Choice" in Golf Digest's 2010 Hot List.
The lightweight characteristics of the pure titanium allows for the ideal amount of thickness behind the impact area to deliver consistent solid feel while simultaneously providing a dramatic increase in perimeter weighting for enhanced playability.
To date, only Mizuno's patented Grain Flow Forging process can deliver this technological advancement that produces these amazing gains in forgiveness, all within a compact, traditional head shape.

The Mizuno MP-59 Irons are amazing. They made the 59′s harmonics better than then the 58′s, or the 62′s. The 59′s top line and sole are almost identical to the 68. The Mizuno MP-59 Irons
Mizuno MP-59 Irons is a lot easier to hit. They feel so much better than the 58. I think your expectations suck then, because you obviously don’t know what you’re talking about. There is a lot of weight on the bottom and out on the perimeter. That is what makes the iron so great. If you want a hard club to hit then get, then get the 69.

The Big Review – Mizuno MP-58 irons, MP T-10 wedges, MP Fli-Hi iron

It could be argued that there are irons and there are Mizuno irons. No other manufacturer has had quite the success and pedigree that Mizuno has had across the entire range of this type of club. From the MP players range to the game improvement MX range, there has always been something to make a golfer's hands itch with desire.

The shining lights of Mizuno's range has always been the blade market. The MP-14, MP-29, MP-33 and MP-32 are rightly considered classics of their time and while it's too early to comment on the new MP-68, the fact 80% of the Tour staff prefer it to the MP-33 can only be a positive.

Frankly, nobody need any encouragement to buy Mizuno blades, especially when they are available in finishes like the current black nickel but the reality is that only a tiny percentage of all golfers have the skill to play irons like the MP-68. The trouble is that once you've pured one out of a blade's sweetspot you'd sell your granny to feel that sensation again. There is literally nothing in the golfing world to match it. So is it possible to match the feel of a blade with the forgiveness of a cavity back? Mizuno have tried to show that it is with the MP-58. Alongside these irons are the MP T-10 wedges, Mizuno's last wedges that will have the aggressive grooves that we have become used to and the new MP Fli-Hi, a direct long-iron replacement (DLR) club that is designed to make the long irons as easy to use as possible but without looking too different from the MP iron that it would replace.
MP-58 irons

Featuring the same dual muscle technology as the 68's the MP-58's have seen Mizuno bringing multi-material technology into the MP range. Every previous iron in the MP range has been made from a single billet of steel but the MP-58 combines the soft 1025E carbon steel with a titanium insert.

For a company known for their forging, Mizuno might be seen to be taking a healthy risk by doing this but have offset this by the way that they forged the two together. The 11g gram titanium muscle piece is brought together with the pure select mild carbon steel head while they are both red hot from the first forging process and then forged together yet again. The result is that the titanium is bonded to the head far more strongly than it otherwise could be. Because of this the MP-58 is designed to offer shot-makers a club that is more forgiving that the 62 and more workable than the 52 but keeping the thickness behind the ball that contributes so heavily to the sound and feel.

MP-T10 Wedge showing 360 grind across the back section

The MP T-10 wedges follow on from the successful MP-R and MP-T wedges. These versions add new QUAD CUT GROOVE technology to their characteristic grain flow forging. Slightly smaller than the previous generation, they have a face that is distinctly thicker but have a 360 degree grind that adds great versatility to the sole and thins the appearance of the topline.

The MP Fli-Hi brings the Hot Plasma technology seen in the MX-700 driver and fairways and the new MX-1000 super game improvement irons. Despite this extra help, the profile is designed specifically to fit into a bag of MP series irons without looking too dissimilar.

The same and different points between Mizuno MP-59 and MP-58 Irons

As we all know, Mizuno’s irons are considered as one of the best and most available among various irons. Both the MP-58 and MP-59 Irons are high praises of great forgiveness, stability and cool shot control by a large number of golf players. Now, let us discuss some of the same and different points betweet MP-58 and MP-59 Irons.

The Mizuno MP-58 Irons features:

Aimed squarely at the professional and highly skilled amateur golfer, the Mizuno MP-58 Irons use ‘Dual Muscle Ti’ technology to give the workability of a traditional muscleback iron, with extra forgiveness.

Dual Muscle technology uses an 11 gram Titanium insert which is forged directly into the back of the Mizuno MP-58 Irons. This increases thickness behind impact for a unique solid feel whilst dramatically increasing perimeter weighting for stability from off centre hits.

The MP-58s have a much thinner sole and top line than the older MP-57 model aimed at enhancing forgiveness for the player by keeping the centre of gravity close to the clubface whilst the beveled sole and flattened mid sole improve ball contact at impact. The head size of the Mizuno MP-58 Irons are also a little bit smaller than the MP-57 but the half cavity design actually delivers a 10% increase in MOI. These developments mean that the Mizuno MP-58 Irons offers the shape and control you would expect from a tour iron while offering much more forgiveness.

The Mizuno MP-59 Irons features:

The Mizuno MP-59 Irons take a full cavity design along with weight saved from the middle portion of the clubhead that deliver greater stability and cool shot control. The thicker material behind impact ensures that centre strikes are rewarded with a solid impact. The MP-59′s centre of gravity also remains close to the clubface contribute to produce controlled draws and fades that ball strikers will enjoy shotting with more enthusiasiam.

Unlike the MP-58s, MP-59s takes the multi material concept further than its award wining predecessor. Thanks to the Ti weight more central to the clubhead, the MP-59 Irons creates even greater stability from off centre strikes which result in higher stability. As a result, you can find the location with less offset to be used and improve your golf game level easier.

Mizuno MP 58 Irons Review

Are you still plagued by finding new clubs to adorn your bags? The shining Mizuno MP line will give you a big surprise. Mizuno MP58 Irons, its revolutionary new product, are many golfers’ favorite! Today golf clubs for salewill take you to review the hot club in 2011.

Build and TechnologyThe Mizuno MP58 Irons have a build you would expect from Mizuno. Very solid and classic – while infusing some new technology. To develop the MP-58 iron, Mizuno uses a high-tech titanium metal during the forging of the outer muscle of the iron. This enhances the feel, workability and shape of the club. The lightweight titanium also allows for an ideal amount of thickness behind the impact area to promote the soft, solid, consistent feel while increasing the perimeter weighting for playability.

The other parts of the build include the optimization of impact, sound, and feel by utilizing Modal Analysis, which means measuring and analyzing the vibration of the head when struck by another object. Take a look at this video to see an example of what I’m talking about.

One other big design feature in the MP-58 set is that they have modified U-grooves that conform to the new condition of competition rules for 2010 while still providing spin and maximum playability. All of Mizuno’s new designs conform to the new rule, basically ending the square groove run started years ago.

Look and FeelOne of the most underrated parts of a club is its look and feel. The look can inspire good mental thoughts and the feel and feedback will reinforce them. While the Mizuno MP58 Irons may not look as simple or pure as a traditional blade, there might not be a better looking dual muscle club out there. The feel impresses even more and is exactly what you’d expect out of a Mizuno club.

From the top and the face of the club, it is very hard to distinguish the MP-58 from nearly any other blade out there. It has a thin top line at address similar to my current blades. Also the size is very similar. If anything, the MP-58s are slightly larger. The good thing is that it is barely noticeable and has no effect on the feel of the club.

The bottom of the Mizuno MP58 Irons are just as similar to a blade as the top. In fact it is hard to distinguish between any of the 50- or 60-series clubs when they are in a bag looking up at you. Only the Mizuno logo near the heel and the number of the club towards the toe stamp the bottom of Mizuno’s game-enhancement irons.

At the back is where the club differs most from other irons. From the top and front, the look is forged but the back is where the dual-muscle backing stands out. The bottom of the back is thicker than the top and features a small cutout that is embossed with the Mizuno name. There is a smooth transition to the thin top that has only a couple of ridges that are visually appealing. The top of the toe is adorned with the MP-58 name.

The feel of the MP-58 is quite nice too. There wasn’t a noticeable difference in weight, which is good if you are transitioning clubs. Not only does the MP-58 look like my forged blades, they felt like them at setup and through the swing.

PerformanceWith the Mizuno MP58 Irons looking and feeling as good as they did, I was hoping they would perform at a high level too. It took a few swings on the range but once I got in a groove there was no doubt.

On the longer irons it was more of the same. There was a higher launch angle and very similar distances. If anything, the Mizuno MP58 Irons could have been a bit longer. What I started to notice a lot more on the longer irons was the forgiveness of these irons. I hit a few shots fat or on the toe and did not lose nearly the distance I would have with the 695s. One memorable one I could have sworn I hit so fat that the ball would have gone maybe only three quarters of the way to the target but the ball nearly carried where some of my normal shots went. I was extremely pleased in this respect. I may carry a low handicap but all of us can benefit from this type of feature in our irons.

The mizuno mp-59 irons come out after Mizuno product development team’s great efforts for a long

Unlike the mp-58, the mizuno mp-59 irons take the multi material concept further than its award
winning predecessor. Thanks to the Ti weight more central to the club head, the mizuno mp-59 irons
create even greater stability from off centre strikes which result in higher stability. As a

This club is amazing. When you hit it well the ball flies forever. On mishit the ball travels only
5 yards shorter and stay on line. Took them out and shot a 74. Lowest score I recorded this year
and felt comfortable the whole round. I was able to work the club both ways (Draw, Fade) without
even having to make a drastic swing change. After wards I checked to see if any of the clubs had
any wear on them and there was not a single scratch on any club. I would recommend these clubs to
anyone with a handicap below 5.

Mizuno MP 58 Irons compared to Mizuno MP68 and MP57 irons

The Mizuno MP 58 Irons have a much thinner sole and top line than the older MP-57 model aimed at enhancing forgiveness for the player by keeping the centre of gravity close to the clubface whilst the beveled sole and flattened mid sole improve ball contact at impact. The head size of the Mizuino MP 68 Iron is also a little bit smaller than the MP-57 but the half cavity design actually delivers a 10% increase in MOI. These developments mean that the MP-58 Ti Muscle offers the shape and control you would expect from a tour iron while offering much more forgiveness
When we got the Mizuno MP 68 irons on the range, we immediately noticed that the MP-58s have a much thinner sole and topline than the old MP-57 model and Mizuno say this modification has enhanced forgiveness by keeping the centre of gravity close to the clubface. The new design of the MP-58 Ti Muscle performed very well, although if we had to be picky, the feel was not quite as good with the multi-material head as with a 100% forged steel head. The mid to short irons were lovely to hit, especially the wedge. Visually the head of the longer seemed a little shorter relative to the mid irons and if this is a concern for you then you can easily replace the long irons with the MP Fli-Hi or the MX300 long irons instead. Overall though this is a great iron for those who want a good players irons with a bit more forgiveness than a blade.

I  purchased the 58's a couple days ago after hitting them, along with the Mizuno mp68's, in the Online golf store "Golf Club Sale" for an hour each on two separate days. I was hitting the 68's as well as the 58's. (Mostly 6 iron.) And the 68's felt GREAT! But, I knew that out on the course when I'm not hitting off a forgiving mat on a flat lie and not hitting ball after ball the results would be much different. So I went with the 58's.
Played with them yesterday very unsure what to expect as I have only been able to play a couple of times this Summer. But they worked great! The feel may not be that of a full on blade but that is the compromise you make for a bit more forgiveness. I also have a PW, 9i and 8i in the 67 model and may work those back into the set next Spring when I am playing more regularly.
I know some golfers felt the longer clubs were not as forgiving but I fell in love with the 4i. (I don't use a 3i much as I have a hybrid for that length.) And, yes, they look great. I was a Titleist player for many years and still use Titleist woods and putter. But I switched to Mizuno 2-3 years ago when I bought the 57s  and I really like the Mizuno feel. Now if I could just find wedges that have the Mizuno feel but that are a bit closer in weight to the Vokey's.
The MP-58s are a step up in forgiveness and a bit longer, which is exactly what I was looking for. It plays like a blade with the forgiveness traits of a cavity back. I also liked the thin top line of the club. The lofts are 1 degree stronger compared to the 67's but I did not notice a real difference in ball flight, just a little longer. They do have a little bit of a dull feeling compared to the 67s and 68s, but not much. If you like blades/muscle backs, I would highly recommend you give these clubs a chance. The Mizuno MP-68 Irons were also a step up from the 67s. Guess its all comes down to your preference. Good Luck.

MP-59 Irons Mizuno Review

Mizuno has done it yet again, astounding me with their newest MP iron series.  The Mizuno MP-59's are by far one of the best clubs I have held in my hand.  One of the things that impressed me most about this club was it's ability to forgive a little a bit more than most other clubs.  I believe the key factor in this is that it has a little bit bigger sweet spot on it, and it has about 12 grams of titanium added into the head.
With this new design it gives the more experienced players more control over the maneuverability of their shot.  When I had hit the 5 iron for my first time, I could definitely notice the stability I had when my shots were a little off, thus improving my game.  In my opinion what they did with the Grain flow forging was absolutely brilliant.   The smoothness when striking the ball with that technology in mind was incredible and very noticeable.  Now the Gold steel shaft they used for the club  was an absolutely great idea as well, considering it is by far one of the best shafts in the industry.
Now if your a little less experienced golf player it might take you a little bit to adjust to them but eventually you will grow to love them and not want to trade them in until the next model in the MP iron set.  Now if your just starting out then I would suggest working your way up to these clubs.  Mizuno definitely went all out for this club and I am entirely happy with the way it performed and handled in the field.  So if I were you I would at least go to your local pro shop and give them a swing around, and see what you think.

Golf Review:Mizuno MP-59 Irons

Mizuno has done it yet again, astounding me with their newest MP iron series.  The Mizuno MP-59′s are by far one of the best clubs I have held in my hand.  One of the things that impressed me most about this club was it’s ability to forgive a little a bit more than most other clubs.  I believe the key factor in this is that it has a little bit bigger sweet spot on it, and it has about 12 grams of titanium added into the head.

Mizuno MP-59 Iron’s Review Online

No practice, no speech, as this old saying goes. This review is definitely my sincere views on one of the discount golf clubs, the Mizuno MP-59 Irons. It is so amazing that I cannot help working with them yesterday and has them in my bag. Love them. Moreover, as the leader in golf technology and innovation, Mizuno has caught so much attention from all the golfers as well as me.

First of all, The MP-59 takes the multi material concept further than its award wining predecessor (MP-58). With its Ti weight more central to the clubhead the MP-59 creates even greater stability from off centre strikes. This increased stability allows for less offset to be used, improving the irons look at address. A thinner top line and weightier sole is finished with a new sole grind developed with Mizuno’s Tour players through 2011.

During the elaborate Grain Flow Forging process, 12 grams of pure Titanium material is forged into the muscle of the MP-59 for sale to deliver a 5% larger Sweet Area compared to the MP-58, the iron which debuted Ti Muscle Technology, while taking home “Editor’s Choice” in Golf Digest’s 2010 Hot List. This provides the ideal amount of thickness behind the impact area for solid feel, while the higher density steel on the toe, heel, and sole provides a dramatic increase in perimeter weighting for enhanced playability. This design allows for an easier launch and more forgiveness due to both a lower Center of Gravity (COG) and larger sweet spot area. This revolutionary Ti Muscle technology maximizes feel and forgiveness, all in a compact players’ head size.

Do you wonder that there are so many golf clubs online with adopting the titanium face, that is because it’s stronger and lighter than steel. That means designers can make thinner driver faces, which creates discretionary weight that can be repositioned in other areas to improve performance. Hence, you might as well have faith in my sincere views about the Mizuno MP-59 Irons, pick them into your golf bag, and play with them carefreely.

Hot sale–Mizuno MP-69 Irons

In these days, the Mizuno MP-69 irons have stepped into our world. I can not control myself to have a test with them. To be honest, I think they are a little expensive; as a result, I just have a try. I will add them into my bag until they cost less. However, they are really excellent Cheap Golf Clubs Sale.

The new 4D muscle pad on the back of the MP-69′s clubhead, strategically places the weight progressively through the set to produce easier-to-hit long irons with a slightly higher ball flight than before, whilst the shorter irons remain cleaner and more compact with a high center of gravity for improved trajectory control. The MP-69s offer great levels of feedback thanks to Mizuno’s Grain Flow Forged clubheads, which produce an improved impact sound and feel. Lastly, the Mizuno MP-69s feature an evolved sole design with a more beveled trailing edge for cleaner turf interaction.

The sole shape of the MP-69 irons was slightly redesigned to maintain effective bounce while increasing overall workability through trailing edge relief. An ideally placed beveled trailing edge delivers more consistent ball striking with a Tour proven sole size and shape. Complete with the appropriate amount of relief for a deeper Center of Gravity (COG), Mizuno’s new sole design increases the versatility of the MP-69 irons. Modified U-grooves, which conform to the Condition of Competition 2010, produce the ideal spin rate for maximum playability in all conditions.

Generally speaking, Grain Flow Forged from 1025E Pure Select mild carbon steel, the Mizuno MP-69 irons provide the feel and consistency that Mizuno players demand. They feature a 4-D muscle design that ensures ideal Center of Gravity placement in each iron, creating a more penetrating and workable trajectory for improved flight control. Improved face-to-ball interaction is achieved through a strategically paled trailing edge bevel.

The MP-69 is a pure Mizuno muscle back. Evolved from the highly acclaimed MP-68, the newer model leans to the clean look of Mizuno’s legendary blades. With the same playing profile and offset as its predecessor, the MP-69 takes few risks with its Tour following. A slightly more pronounced toe is a feature influenced from Mizuno’s original Japanese models. By the way,Mizuno MP-59 Irons 3-9 P is another new golf clubs.

Target golfing audience — +2 – 13 handicaps
When I first started chatting with the Mizuno people about getting some irons to review, I was excited. The new MP line was coming out and their MP-69s looked exactly like the blades I once had owned in my Titleist 690-MBs. It’s true, nobody, not even Tiger Woods, needs to hit blades with the technology out there these days, but having those in the bag is just cool. Sadly, the curse of the southpaw got me, as I was informed the 69s wouldn’t be molded lefty.
The disappointed lasted until the box of 59s arrived. A “full cavity forgiveness in a player’s half cavity design” as their site informs us, the 59s are exactly what I was looking for. Playing 18 holes with my uncle, the most popular cart partner in my golfing Rolodex, confirmed it. He admitted that carrying these irons would get more of the “player that thinks he needs blades even though he doesn’t” group interested, because they’re just so darn good looking without all the additions that can make certain irons look clunky.

Initial Thought
No golfer will ever say that pulling new clubs out of the box is a bad experience. Getting a new golf club is the spa treatment of the golfing world, and the first impression is always an important thing.
My first thought? Beautiful. They’re astonishingly well made, as I’ve always heard Mizuno irons were, and I was so impressed with the simple look and feel right out of the box that I was disappointed I don’t have a local night range in the area.
Transitioning
My old irons were the first generation Titleist AP-2s, a bit larger than the 59s I got in the mail. It might seem like going to a smaller iron would be a tough transition, but I actually started hitting these great right off the bat. The main reason? How easy I felt they setup over the ball.
The other crazy thing? I actually am hitting them about a half-club farther. With my old irons, I would hit a 7-iron about 180, but this one is flying anywhere between 185 and 190. It has taken some getting used to, (mostly mentally convincing myself that “yes, a 7-iron from this distance is the right club”) but I was surprised at how long they are.
Playability
The thing you need with a good set of irons is something you can mis-hit. A very good playing friend of mine once told me that you hit about three or four GOOD shots a round, so it’s really just playing those foul balls all day. That’s what makes a decent player good, and a good player great. You have to be able to play your bad shots.
I loved that about these 59s. The mis-hits are workable. Unlike blades, that force you to lotion up your hands after a bad shot, the ball goes just as true when you don’t catch it as solid.
As my game continues to deteriorate, that’s something I really need, and I’m glad these provide that.
Final Verdict
I love them. I love them so much. I’ve played about five rounds with them and get more comfortable each time. On Monday, out on the golf course, I had a moment where I wanted to “chip” a 9-iron to a distance I could easily hit a pitching wedge. Normally these are the shots I pull, because the swing shortens, you get your weight to the other side quickly, and things break down. With the way these irons lay down, I just put my weight forward, made a soft swing, and BAM, hit the ball to eight-feet.

Mizuno releases the MP-59 irons

Golf club makers fell in love with titanium because it's stronger and lighter than steel. That means designers can make thinner driver faces, which creates discretionary weight that can be repositioned in other areas to improve performance.
But with the release of the new MP-59 irons, Mizuno uses titanium for a completely different purpose—forgiveness.

While the MP-59 is made from steel, 12 grams of titanium are forged into a pocket behind the face of each club. (It's the slightly darker material in the photo above.) Mizuno says the titanium allows the clubs to maintain the ideal amount of thickness behind the impact area for solid feel while automatically redistributing the weight to the heel, toe and sole of the club.
"The more you push the weight out to the perimeter and the thinner you make it in the middle, there's a trade-off with feel," says David Llewellyn, research and development manager for Mizuno USA. "But by using a lower density material we can maintain thickness here and build in a little bit of forgiveness."
Llewellyn says that like all the other MP irons, the MP-59 has very little offset and a thin topline because that's what better players demand.
In fact, the heads of the MP-59 irons are slightly smaller than last season's MP-58, the first irons released with this feature that Mizuno calls Ti Muscle. Yet Mizuno claims the clubs have a sweet spot that is 5 percent larger.
"The MP-58 has a titanium piece that is fairly uniform along the back," says Llewellyn. "On the MP-59 we focused the titanium right in the middle." That should make them perform better on mis-hits than their predecessors, he said.
The MP-59 irons will come standard with True Temper Dynamic Gold steel shafts for 9 and start arriving in pro shops Sept. 6.

Mizuno MP-59 Irons and MP 53 Irons

Today, I will tell you two discount golf clubs. They are very great!

Mizuno MP-59 Irons

The Mizuno MP-59 is an evolution of the succesful MP-58 model. With the Ti weight added to the MP-59, off-center strikes will benefit from even greater stability. The appearance of the MP-59s is also improved by reducing the offset as a result of this improved stability.

The heads of the MP-59 irons are slightly smaller than last season’s MP-58, the first irons released with this feature that Mizuno calls Ti Muscle. The MP-59′s center of gravity also remains close to the clubface – allowing ball strikers to produce controlled draws and fades. Yet Mizuno claims the clubs have a sweet spot that is 5 percent larger.

The MP-59 features a lightweight Titanium insert forged directly into the back of the clubhead. The thicker Ti Muscle material behind impact ensures that the centre of gravity is located closer to the clubface, which allows better players the ability to work shots whilst still offering the forgiveness of the cavity-back design.

Mizuno MP 53 Irons

This unique grind provides a thinner top line for an eye pleasing look at address. Mizuno’s patented Grain Flow Forging process and these advanced design technologies combine in the MP-53 to optimize feel, playability, and performance.

Introducing the new MP-53 irons featuring a Diamond Muscle design and “V” slot Milled Pocket Cavity™. Checking all the boxes required to be an MP model, the MP-53 has the head size, playing profile, and top line to please even the most demanding shotmakers. But what sets this MP iron apart is an innovative CNC milled Pocket Cavity which removes 14 grams of weight. This weight is strategically redistributed around the cavity to achieve the largest sweet area ever in an MP iron, delivering maximum playability while remaining extremely versatile.

In addition, the MP-53 irons were scientifically designed through Mizuno’s use of Modal Analysis and Harmonic Impact Technology, which perfectly tunes the sound of impact to deliver the ultimate in feel. Paying close attention to how the sole interacts with the turf, Mizuno applied a 360° grind on the back cavity for increased shot making ability.
